“ For appetizers, we had wings, seafood chowder, garlic bread with cheese (this was good!!!) and we each had the Kitchen Sink because we were mighty hungry. It came with a heap of fries. The fries alone in one order is good for people. Best to order one Kitchen Sink and do other items without fries. That way the fries aren’t wasted. Service was friendly, helpful and patient. It was a lot of fried food but we enjoyed our lunch here overall. We went in the middle of the afternoon so it wasn’t a busy time. It was a foggy and rainy day when we went so the view wasn’t the best on that day but we could only imagine how beautiful it could have been on a clear day. ”

“ Got the fish and chips. The batter of the fish is on the crispier side so it has a good crunch to it. The cod and fries were fresh while the dressing and gravy was a nice addition. The main selling point of this spot is the view, if you are here during summer or spring and the weather isn't foggy, you can basically see the whole bay. Prices are comparable to other restaurants scatter across the southern shore. Overall, my experience was positive and if I was in the area again, I would pop in for a visit. ”

“ If you're in Ferryland around meal time you'll want to stop here. Classic homestyle Newfoundland food - they mean it when they say the best Fish & Chips on the Irish Loop. Oh and did I mention the million dollar view? They've got a beautiful spot overlooking the bay and we were lucky enough to see whales blowing and breaching in the bay while we ate. Awesome service.... Highly recommended ! ”
